Your Job

You’re not the person who will settle for just any role. Neither are we. Because we’re out to create Better Care for a Better World, and that takes a certain kind of person and teams who care about making a difference. Here, you’ll bring your professional expertise, talent, and drive to building and managing our portfolio of iconic, ground-breaking brands.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Demand Planner. This is a full time, Fixed Term Contract (18 months) position based in our Head Office at North Sydney.

The Senior Demand Planner plays a crucial role in coordinating baseline and promotional planning forecast inputs from various teams to develop an aligned SKU by state split forecast over a 24-month horizon. You will support the Supply Chain Leadership Team and the broader business by being the first point of reference for short-term demand changes and stock allocation in short supply, forming the foundation for production, procurement, and deployment plans. Additionally, you’ll assist in developing short-term Supply Plans that align with the commercial forecast.

This role also involves analysing and reporting results, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and leading key forums within the S&OP cycle. Collaboration with the Supply Planner is essential to meet key customer service and inventory targets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Finance to build robust customer demand plans underpinned by thorough analysis, clear R&Os and capture of Demand Drivers.
  • Deliver accurate volume demand forecast as a key input into the S&OP process: based on documented assumptions/analysis across the planning horizon for the relevant product and customer hierarchy.
  • Perform root cause analysis for forecast variance and support sales and marketing in creating innovation plans and end-of-life cycle planning.
  • Facilitate Customer Demand review sessions and drive improved forecast quality to meet customer service expectations.
  • Attend and contribute to other meetings through S&OP cycle (Supply Review, MBR) where necessary.
  • Work with the Supply Planner to manage customer service and inventory targets, and highlight areas of risk to the P&L.
  • Manage and communicate mitigation plans balancing demand, supply, service, inventory, and costs, ensuring the best actions are implemented.
  • Lead the team in effective communication on Demand and Supply issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Provide support to the Demand and Supply Planning Manager by attending key monthly management meetings such as S&OP as required.

In your role, you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world. It starts with YOU.

About You:

Skills and qualifications required for this role:

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years working in Demand/Supply Planning role within a FMCG environment.
  • 5+ years experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proven ability to conduct quantitative and statistical analyses.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to problem-solve.

You love what you do, especially when the work you do makes a difference. At Kimberly-Clark, we’re constantly exploring new ideas on how, when, and where we can best achieve results.
