POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Chief Sustainability Officer, the Director of Sustainability Data, Analytics & Reporting is responsible for developing and deploying strategies focused on enhancing digital Sustainability and ESG solutions, data collection, validation and analytics processes across the enterprise, while leading development of ESG-related voluntary and mandatory reporting and disclosures. This role will partner with senior leaders across the enterprise to deploy these strategies, including Legal, Communications, Corporate Reporting/Controllers, DTS, Enterprise Supply Chain, along with the Enterprise Sustainability teams.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Leads a team responsible to develop and deploy integrated digital solutions that provide the transparency, data/analytics and forecasting capabilities necessary to deliver enterprise EHS&S goals and needs, including ESG reporting.
- Manages the ESG data and reporting strategy and processes.
- In partnership with the digital technology team, develops and deploys strategies to integrate the data management strategy with our consolidated ESG and Sustainability data management and reporting platforms.
- Implements processes and controls to ensure proper data collection, engineering, harmonization and remediation for completeness and accuracy. Continuously improves ESG data controls, working with internal stakeholders including Internal Audit, Finance and Controllership to ensure data is auditable and prepared in accordance with the firm’s internal controls framework.
- Develops a strategy to create and provide training to numerous stakeholders and the user community.
- Consolidates and analyzes business unit data for company-wide ESG reporting.
- Identifies key priorities and gaps to be addressed through design and execution of an ESG Digital Solutions Roadmap and Systems Architecture, including enhancements to existing digital platforms.
- Amplifies impact by partnering with Internal Audit, Corporate Controllers, Corporate Reporting, Legal, Human Resources, Communications, Risk Management, Investor Relations and others to further integrate ESG into strategic plans and priorities
- Leads and completes ESG/Sustainability reporting and disclosures, including:
- Development of outline/template for annual report in coordination with Communications
- Prioritization and compilation of data from various sources/systems, synthesized and well-supported content from relevant programs/program leaders
- Assimilation of feedback from key stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
- Maintenance of the annual reporting/disclosure calendar and alignment of team and stakeholder deliverables to meet all deadlines
- Support the development and review of external facing ESG Reporting obligations
- Monitors sustainability performance trends, regularly assessing and benchmarking the organization's sustainability performance against industry peers, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Provides guidance to ensure a successful completion of the annual ESG/Sustainability reviews and reports.
- Assists with sustainability and ESG related data preparation, reports, and responses for internal and external audits, customers, and shareholders.
- Provides data/reports/analyses to K-C’s executive leaders and Board of Directors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, Business Management or other related field.
- 10 plus years of applicable experience in a combination the following:
- Deployment of digital solutions
- ESG/Sustainability
- Corporate data reporting
- 3 plus years of previous leadership experience, working with high performing salaried professionals.
- Experience in large, complex consumer-orientated industries.
- Previous experience working in a publicly traded company, preferably in consumer packaged goods.
- Prior experience working with various data collection and reporting applications such as Snowflake, PowerBI, etc.
- Strong data analysis skills with large degrees of ambiguous and complex data sets
- Proven cross-functional leader with exceptional project management skills
- Ability to collaborate with external auditors and prepare ESG data for both limited and reasonable assurance.
- Impeccable business writing acumen.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to ESG reporting and experience engaging with various stakeholders on ESG issues.
- Experience with ESG assurance processes.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills and aptness to educate, inspire, and influence audiences across various levels/functions (including personnel in Supply Chain Operations, Sales & Marketing, Research & Engineering, Government Affairs, Legal, etc.) influencing behaviors/outcomes without direct authority.
- Ability to think strategically, adapt to change, and develop long-term plans to achieve business and sustainability outcomes.

Salary Range: 157,720 – 194,760 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
